Question

Asked by: Bjorn
Subject: Axial movement of a gyro?
Question: Hello everybody,

Will a spinning gyro affect it's inertia when moved in pure AXIAL direction?

Will a spinning gyro affect it's inertia when moved in pure RADIAL direction?

Both questions relate to their inertia in a non-spinning state.

(My guess is 'no' on the first question and yes on the second. Am I correct?)
